I have a public school education and I can read and write at a semi functional level, but then again I went to school back when you were expected to learn. I don't know what they do at school anymore, but they definitely don't learn. I can remember some of the evaluation reports that would come across my desk when I was a First Sergeant, most of them looked like they had been written by a six year old blind orangutan who wrote with the pen in his mouth. The saddest part about it is that most of the people writing these reports had one or two years of college under their belts.

Another Failure Of Our Education System
