What a crappy game

Talk about the biggest let down ever, I loved Doom and Doom 2, when they released Doom 3 I was ecstatic, I couldn't wait, great Id game play with modern graphics. Wow, what a huge disappointment, and this picture sums it up. You go into a room, the door closes behind you and the lights go out, the monsters come out and you have a choice: use the flashlight to see whats going to kill you or flail around in the dark shooting at random while you get killed. Are you telling me that they have the technology to go to mars, but they can't figure out how to attach a flashlight to a weapon. For fucks sake, there has to at least be a roll of scotch tape laying around somewhere or holy shit, what about holding the flashlight in one hand and the gun in the other?
