The Rat Patrol

Classic TV, they don't make shows like this anymore. Of course in real life, 4 guys tooling around the desert with no water or fuel aren't going to last long. I mean come on, those jeeps are tiny, I know, I drove one back in the early '80s. Where are they storing their rations, water, fuel, clothes, spare ammunition, hell 2 crates of .50 cal ammo would fill the back of the jeep so where is the rest? And where did these genius' learn tactics? The M2 .50 cal (which each jeep has) has a max effective range of 2000 meters against point targets and a max range of 6000 meters....that's 4 miles! So why the f@$% do these douche bags feel the need to drive up to the target to shoot it? Haven't they heard of cover and concealment? And don't get me started on the uniforms, let one of my Soldiers show up wearing a red kepi, he'd spend the rest of his life burning the shit barrels from the latrines. Wow, sorry about that, I really did like the show when I was a kid, I guess perspective changes with age.
